Beginner's Courses

Keyworth Archers run several beginner's courses every year, both outdoors and in. Introducing people to archery is something that's very important to us. We are very beginner-friendly - in fact, most of us first took up archery after attending a course at the club.

Our courses consist of four two-hour sessions, over four weeks. We supply all the equipment you'll use. Our coaches are qualified to Archery GB Level 1 and Level 2, and have up-to-date DBS checks. We'll teach you to participate safely, how to assemble a bow, how to shoot with good technique, and how scoring works.

Our courses are suitable for anyone from 10 years of age, and the cost is £65 for over-25s, or £45 for under-25s or people with a disability. Please note that children under 13 must be supervised by a responsible adult for the duration of all sessions.

If you'd like to sign up for an archery course, please fill out the form below, and we'll be in touch to confirm your place.

Please provide the following extra information if you can. It'll help us to make sure we have appropriate equipment.
